My Senior internship was with the UNF School of Communication Department. I was the sports journalist for a student-run show titled "Inside Swoop in 90," supervised by Ken Thomas. I worked Monday through Friday for 3 to 4 hours each day. I was responsible for writing, filming, and editing a daily 90-second update show about sports. Writing involved finding 2 to 3 stories and writing them in broadcast format. Filming involved recording in the studio the 2 to 3 stories I wrote in broadcast format. Editing involved taking the footage of the 90-second show, putting it in Adobe Premiere, and then adding pictures to the video that went along with the stories presented.  I also completed other tasks like running the teleprompter or setting up the camera for the other two interns who covered other news. I created two more shows during my time at the internship, "Saturday Showdown" and "Inside Jags." "Saturday Showdown" was filmed every Thursday along with my other update and featured me previewing one of the best college football games of the week. I would talk about the keys of the game for both teams as well as match ups to watch. "Inside Jags" was filmed on Friday, in which I would use interviews received from the Jacksonville Jaguars to talk about the Jaguars game each week. Upon completing my internship, I finished 70 episodes of "Inside Swoop in 90," 13 episodes of "Saturday Showdown," and 11 episodes of "Inside Jags."

Below are some examples of Inside Swoop in 90, "Saturday Showdown," and Inside Swoop "Inside Jags." My role in creating these shows was writing, filming, and editing each show by the deadline so they could be published Monday through Sunday. There is also a package I did in tandem with the UNF men's basketball team, focusing on their journey through the crazy COVID19 off season.
